Watch: Viral Dean Ambrose video shows he does whatever he wants at WWE live event

Written by

A couple of weeks ago, news broke that Dean Ambrose would be leaving the WWE after WrestleMania and it shocked the wrestling world.

With the emergence of All Elite Wrestling, a lot more wrestlers have been taking their fate into their own hands and Ambrose has set an enviable precedent to his peers.

Dean Ambrose has won every title possible in the WWE with the exception of the Universal title

Time and time again we hear that talents are unhappy in the WWE and in some cases, they want to leave. However, Vince McMahon has proven to be a master at placating talent and keeping his ship in order.

Ambrose is proving to be the exception to the rule and will exit the company after just over seven years on the main roster after WrestleMania 35.

As a result, Ambrose’s booking in recent weeks has taken a significant downturn. Considering he was the Intercontinental champion less than one month ago, Ambrose has now lost clean to Seth Rollins and EC3 in recent weeks on top of being pushed around by female superstar Nia Jax.

Fans recorded Ambrose facing Rollins at a recent live event and it’s clear that the former WWE champion is doing exactly what he wants now he is on his way out of the door.

Just watch the video below and look how he sells the Curb Stomp from Rollins:

In all fairness, Ambrose has been known to do a fair amount of comedic stuff on house shows down the years and his overselling is quite legendary.

Still, it looks like the Lunatic Fringe decided to take it up an extra notch here and the crowd went absolutely crazy for it.

Ambrose is going to be sorely missed in the WWE and it’s a great shame how the WWE presented his character after the long-awaited heel-turn late last year.

Will he end up in AEW? Will he end up back in the WWE down the road? Only time will tell.
