Sprouse’s girlfriend Lili Reinhart has since confirmed the actor was hacked, adding, ‘F**k people who do that, seriously.’
Riverdale star Cole Sprouse has become the latest hacker prank victim after gamers took control of his Twitter account and posted a series of offensive tweets.
The actor, who was a Teen Choice Award winner on Sunday, August 12, appeared to have lost his mind on Monday night when a clutch of foul tweets were released.
One attacked Disney bosses and another featured an explicit comment about his brother Dylan Sprouse’s model girlfriend, Barbara Palvin.
But then things got really dark as the hackers suggested a meet-up for fans of the actor in Los Angeles.
Cole’s followers quickly pointed out the star was shooting Riverdale in Canada and warned fans to stay away and “spread the word so no one will get hurt”.
Sprouse’s girlfriend and co-star Lili Reinhart has since confirmed the actor was hacked, adding, “F**k people who do that, seriously.”
Cole’s Twitter has been hacked BTW. Fuck people who do that, seriously.

Insiders believe a group of Fortnite gamers were behind the hack attack.
Cole, who is now back in control of his tweets, has yet to comment on the incident, but he predicted it was coming two months ago.
“The point is to establish a strange enough twitter that if someone hacks your s**t it would just look like business as usual,” he wrote.
Sprouse is still on a high after picking up Choice Drama TV Actor among a handful of Riverdale accolades at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
